Each CommCare cloud has its own account. Sign in to the cloud where your project is hosted, or create a new account if you’re using a different cloud for the first time.

Do I need a separate account for each cloud?

Yes. Each cloud operates independently, so you’ll need a separate account for each one. You can use the same email address across all clouds.

How do I know which cloud my project is using?

Look at your project URL:
  • US www.commcarehq.org
  • EU eu.commcarehq.org
  • India india.commcarehq.org
If you’re still not sure, try signing in on each cloud; your credentials will only work on the one your account belongs to.

Can I move a project space to another cloud?

No. Project spaces themselves cannot be migrated between cloud locations, so you’ll need to create a new project space.

You can, however, manually move many elements of your project space, like applications, to a new cloud. See Rebuilding Project Space Components Between CommCare Clouds for step-by-step instructions.
