Can CommCare integrate with the systems we already use?
In most cases, yes. CommCare has an open, documented API, so any system that can call an API can read from and write to CommCare. Use the API Explorer to run real calls against your own project before you build anything.
Can I connect CommCare to Power BI or Tableau?
Yes. CommCare publishes OData feeds that connect straight into Power BI, Tableau, or Excel with a few clicks. The feeds refresh on a schedule, so your dashboards stay current without manual exports.
How do I get a report or dashboard out of CommCare?
For a one-off, use a Standard Export to Excel or CSV. For something live and refreshed, connect an OData feed to Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
How do I move CommCare data into a data warehouse?
The Data Export Tool moves large, scheduled datasets into a reporting database or data warehouse, and data forwarding streams new and updated forms and cases in near real time.

Can other systems send data into CommCare?
Yes. The Form Submission API lets an external system create and update forms and cases in CommCare, on demand or on an automated schedule.
How do I bring data in from another app?
